FMU Block

The FMU block can be used to interact with a Functional Mock-up Unit (FMU) model for co-simulation. The FMU block determines its inputs, outputs, and parameters based on the values defined in the associated FMU. In order to use an FMU block, you must first upload an FMU file.

Inputs

• One input for each model variable of causality "input".

Outputs

• One output for each model variable of causality "output".

Parameters

• FMU: Which FMU type to use. This field will be a dropdown that allows you to select from the FMU files uploaded to Static Assets.
• The block will also have parameters for each variable of causality "parameter" in the FMU model.
